Principal Ken has almost thirty years of library design experience. Prior to joining DRA in 2007, he was managing partner at Best Joslin Architects, where he was responsible for the architectural planning and design for a majority of the firms seventy-five library projects. Now a Principal at DRA, Ken brings a special expertise to public architecture grounded in extensive research and practice. His designs incorporate highly advanced concepts, especially in the accommodation of new information technology, lighting and green material selections. His extensive experience has exposed him to many different project types including public, institutional, educational, corporate, commercial, religious and industrial. Much of his work has been in preservation, renovation and expansion of historic structures dating from the eighteenth century on. Ken graduated from Hammersmith College of Arts and Building, London England and is a registered architect in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Maine, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
