During planning of the new middle school, the District emphasized the importance of community use for educational, recreational, civic, and cultural activities.  Athletic and performing arts areas become community resources after hours. The design of the athletic facility supports curriculum that engages students in variety of activities.  The clearstory, a significant feature of the gym, provides plenty of natural light without glare.  During the winter months the state-of-the-art fitness room is a great asset for the students and staff.
