DRA designed a "Therapy Pavilion" addition to Beverly Manor of Reading to address the facility's need to accommodate a wide variety of therapy programs. It includes spaces for physical therapy, speech therapy, hydrotherapy and occupational therapy. A residential kitchen and bathroom also provide patients with the necessary training tools to complete preparation for return to everyday home life. A charting area, open planning, and consultation area as well as private conference room have been included in the addition. A panoramic view of a neighboring golf course invites patients outside to the covered portico leading to two outdoor activity courtyards. A raised planting and garden space occupies one courtyard while golf-related outdoor exercises are in the other.
