Blue Ridge Healthcare Center - East

DRA designed a 40-bed addition to an existing 56-bed, long-term care facility. The new construction forms an internal courtyard serving as a focal point for the facility. The main entrance, reception areas, social services, and administrative components were moved to the new space to support the 40-bed facility. The new addition also contains an employee entrance, receiving areas, a service elevator, and a full-service kitchen.
The available space in the existing building was renovated to incorporate a physical therapy/ occupational therapy suite, dining area, and a lounge area.
