Overcrowding at Gloucester High School led to the need for a design study. DRA completed the study and confirmed that addition/renovation work at the existing high school would alleviate the overcrowding issue.
The new additions included an athletic field house for school and community use, athletic program offices, team rooms, locker rooms, art department, library, lecture hall, and an entire classroom wing. Renovations include upgrading the cafeteria and auditorium. Enhancements were made to address handicap accessibility, life safety and energy conservation.
