The district had a common problem - budget constraints prohibited development of a new comprehensive high school. DRA developed a "campus" style plan configuration, including construction of a new Math, Science and Technology Building while converting the existing building to serve as the Arts and Humanities School. The Math, Science and Technology facility will host these programs as well as the World Language and Computer Science classrooms, vocational shops, planetarium and Family, Cosmetology and Consumer Sciences. The existing 225,000 SF will be reconfigured as the humanities building and include English, social studies, performing arts, and athletic program.
