Norfolk Public Library

The existing 8,500 SF library building did not meet the current and future library needs. Ken Best began working with Norfolk Library at the Design Development phase. The existing schematic plans were developed into a comprehensive set of construction documents. The new addition doubles the adult collection space, provides a separate children?s reading and programming area and enlarged staffing areas, as well as offers both the library and the community a meeting room for 100 people and can be accessed separately from the library. The facility has updated technology capabilities designed to adapt to future demands. The Library has integrated a complete RFID system for book management.
