Bentley University
Waltham, MA

DRA provided master planning and design services to Bentley University over a ten year period.  For the upper campus we identified academic space needs and for the lower campus residential space needs.   From these planning efforts we determined that a link was needed between the two campuses and designed a pedestrian bridge over a major roadway. We also designed a student housing complex, Orchard North and South where each of the thirty nine apartments accommodates five students.

Other projects include the 55,000 SF Graduate Center (now the Adamian Academic Center) that houses traditional and interactive classrooms, student services and lecture hall. We also prepared a phased master plan for an adjacent 33-acre parcel of land.  A few years after this master plan, the College purchased the property for intramural and intercollegiate sports and informal student recreation.
